USB 2.0 IDE Adapters

IDE (also known sometimes as ATA) is a standard interface parameter used by many external storage devices, such as DVD and CD-ROM drives, as well as external hard drives. Though many computers have IDE ports already installed in them, some people want to be able to quickly and easily hook up IDE hard drives to their desktop of laptop computers. No matter if you need to hook up a 2.5 inch drive with a 44-pin connector or a 3.5 inch or 5.25 inch drive with a 40-pin connector, the USB to IDE adapter has you covered.

One such option for users looking to expand their IDE ports is to get a USB adapter. These simple cables plug straight into the common USB port (which almost all computers have at least one of). They effectively transform this USB port into one that is IDE compatible and can support an external drive easily.

Byte Runner Technologies offers one USB IDE 2.0 adapter to interested users. Our IDE adapters are easy to use, and incorporate simple plug-and-play technology, so that users can plug them in and then forget about them, at least until they need their USB port back. They are easy to use and will not clutter your desktop.

In addition to USB IDE 2.0 adapters, we also stock many other computer parts and accessories here at Byte Runner Technologies. In the adapter category, we offer a variety of other USB adapters which can--in a manner very similar to the IDE 2.0--change your simple USB port into something much more versatile. All of our products are reasonably priced and come complete with free technical support.
